I'm writing my ideas up here — on a whim.

The one that tells you to work and get better at something useful. I couldn't always tell what useful meant, but when I stop looking for it, I feel like I'm wasting my time down there.

A friend told me he's excited about AI agents. They'll take the boring tasks, he said, and leave us the fun ones. Maybe. But while nobody wants the boring tasks, I still believe that's where you learn.

That project that could've made a change? They say that it wasn't going anywhere anyway. Why bother. The truth often sounds more like "I lost interest." Another side project that's been "almost done." For two years.

And there's this thing with all these new gadgets. You're supposed to go faster, make better. Yet, you just end the day with a bigger pile of scraps. Nothing really changed. The fun projects gather dust, the warehouse just got bigger.

I'm taking a shot at the slow stuff up here. Think a problem through, build it, then try to explain it. Why? Because of that whim I was talking about.

And maybe I won't find what I came for. But I'll try to make something useful for everyone while I'm looking for it.

Might not be the latest AI agent, might just be a vlog, if that helps.
